Ve st\u0159edu 12. ledna odjelo 19 student\u016f z 1A a 2 studenti z 1B na studijn\u00ed cestu do Prahy\u00a0se sv\u00fdm u\u010ditelem Tony Laurelem. Z\u00fa\u010dastnili se p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00ed se v\u00fdznamu diplomacie a fungov\u00e1n\u00ed velvyslanectv\u00ed a konzul\u00e1tu, kterou zorganizoval portugalsk\u00fd velvyslanec v \u010cesk\u00e9 republice, Almeida Sampaio a konzul Jos\u00e9 Ri\u00e7o. P\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ka se konala na p\u016fd\u011b velvyslanectv\u00ed a setk\u00e1n\u00ed bylo zakon\u010deno diskuz\u00ed zcela v duchu filozofie mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edho programu IB. Mezi studenty a velvyslancem do\u0161lo tak\u00e9 k v\u00fdm\u011bn\u011b d\u00e1rk\u016f.<\/span><\/div>\n
Po ob\u011bd\u011b v p\u0159\u00e1telsk\u00e9 atmosf\u00e9\u0159e v centru Prahy se studenti p\u0159esunuli do za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed Instituto Cam\u00f5es, co\u017e je organizace odpov\u011bdn\u00e1 za propagaci portugalsk\u00e9 kultury a jazyka po cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b. Studenti se sezn\u00e1mili s mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edm v\u00fdznamem portugal\u0161tiny, kter\u00e1 je v sou\u010dasnosti \u0161est\u00fdm nejroz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u011bj\u0161\u00edm jazykem na sv\u011bt\u011b, a tak\u00e9 s b\u011b\u017en\u00fdm fungov\u00e1n\u00edm institutu. Na z\u00e1v\u011br n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bvy \u0159editelka institutu v Praze Gilda Machado rozdala ceny nejbyst\u0159ej\u0161\u00edm student\u016fm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Po celodenn\u00edm u\u010den\u00ed a seznamov\u00e1n\u00ed se s ob\u011bma institucemi se studenti vraceli dom\u016f unaven\u00ed, ale s pocitem \u00fasp\u011bchu. Diplomacie u\u017e pro n\u011b nen\u00ed z\u00e1hadou a mo\u017en\u00e1 by se n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed mohli v budoucnu vydat touto cestou.<\/span><\/div>\n

On Wednesday the 12th of January, 19 students from 1Aj and 2 students from 1B went on a study trip to Prague with their class teacher, Tony Laurel, where they attended a lecture on the importance of diplomacy and the functioning of an embassy and a consulate by both the ambassador of Portugal to the Czech Republic, Almeida Sampaio, and the respective consul, Jos\u00e9 Ri\u00e7o. The lecture took place on the grounds of the embassy and an interesting session of questions and answers finalized the meeting, which once again revealed the spirit of the IB philosophy within the students of 1Aj. Presents of goodwill were also exchanged between the students and the ambassador.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a friendly and fun lunchtime in the center of Prague the students proceeded to the facilities of the Instituto Cam\u00f5es, the institute responsible for promoting Portuguese culture and language worldwide. In this lecture the students were presented with the international importance of the Portuguese language, currently number 6 in the world, and how an organization of this kind works. At the end of the visit, the director of the institute, Gilda Machado, already deeply committed to the teaching of Portuguese in Rokycany, distributed prizes among the most knowledgeable students.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a full day of learning and fraternization the students returned home tired but with a feeling of achievement, diplomacy is no longer a mystery to them and perhaps some might follow this honorable path in the future.<\/span><\/div>\n
